Brief introduction：
Mt. Wudang, also called Taihe Moutain and Canshang Moutain, located in Shiyan city, Hubei province. In the late period of the Easten Han Dynasty, Taoism was born and Wudang Mountain was respected as the immortal. It is not only one of the first batch national level scenic spots of China but also the heritage of the world. |
Mt. Wudang is famous for its magnificent buildings. The ancient architectures stem from Tang Dynasty, through the great development during Song and Yuan, they achieve to their peaks in Ming Dynasty.
Wudang Mountain is praised as the meeting place of heaven and earth. For its enchanting scenery and the legend of home of gods, many Taoists and hermits come to cultivate themselves, so Wudang Mountain is regarded as the origin place of China Taoism.
Wudang kungfu, an important school of Chinese Martial Arts which has a very long history. Wudang kungfu, incorporating the ways to keep healthy and prolong the lifespan and collecting the skills to fight, is not only a special school of Martial Arts, but also a whole system of Martial Arts theory. The original legend of Wudang kungfu and the pose of the snake in the fighting have visually demonstrate the gist of Wudang kungfu: to overcome the strong in a gentle way and to win by striking only after the enemy has been struck; to ascertain one's position and then defeat the enemy.
After many boxing masters' enrichment and development, Wudang kungfu has many derivative schools and kinds, such as, Taiji Boxing, Form-and-will Boxing, and Eight-diagram Palm; Taiji Spear and Taiji Sword; Qingqong, Hard kungfu, feats and some kinds of Qigong. From then on, Wudang kungfu has walked out of the deep mountain and become an important school of Chinese Martial Arts.

D1: Bus to Wudang Mountain area at 7:00 am(5.5h),after lunch, you will go up to the peak by eco-car, and then take the cable car to Golden Summit to visit the Golden Palace, enjoying the beautiful scenery and the charming of Chinese Taoism. (rest in one hotel on the mountain)
D2: Have breakfast at 7:00 am, then visit the South Cliff, which is the most perfectly collaborated building group by both artificial and natural scenery among the 36 cliffs in Wudang Mountain. The second destination is Purple Cloud Palace. With the cluster of hills guarding the peaks, the wood of pine and green cypress deep and remote, and the surroundings elegant and weather comfortable, the place is thought the Blessed Place in Purple Cloud Palace View-site. After lunch, you finish the pleasant trip and go back to Wuhan. |
